We are a child-centred team who hold wellbeing policy at the heart of all that we do. Therefore, we place an emphasis on offering superb professional development and support to all members of the team.Your role will be to teach and inspire young people in Key Stage 3 and 4 Maths, personalising learning to meet their medical needs and/or SEND and motivating them to achieve, despite their considerable personal challenges. Lessons are mainly 1:1 and will take place in a range of locations including homes and libraries, depending on the young person's needs. In addition, the post holder will work closely with senior staff in schools, CAMHS, medical professionals, social workers, CBC SEND staff and the young person and their family, to create and lead a strategic reintegration plan and to ensure the best possible outcomes.We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient individual who has a passion for seeing young people succeed. You need to be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, with the ability to work flexibly and independently. You will also need to be an excellent teacher of Mathematics to GCSE.Qualified to degree level with qualified teacher status and several years teaching experience, you will have a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive and travel as part of the role.
