- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs in classroom settings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans tailored to each student's requirements.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour management and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Support students in developing strategies to better manage their behaviour, emotions, and mental health.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH is desirable.
- Resilience and mental strength to work with the challenging behaviour encountered in the school is a must
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
