- Performance servicing, maintenance on plant in the workshop & yard as required.
- Assist workshop staff with preventative maintenance and servicing for all cranes and plant.
- Be lead engineer for the rigging/derigging of hydraulic lattice and telescopic cranes across the UK.
- Assist workshop staff to ensure duties are being carried out efficiently and accurately.
- Accurately maintain service records for each asset detailing all faults, repairs, service dates etc
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times.
- Be flexible to work away from home with occasional extended hours to assist with rigging/derigging, this may involve occasional weekend working.
- Secure necessary materials and parts for the work in good time, ordering/ chasing from suppliers if necessary.
- Provide technical advice to ensure shortest possible downtime for vehicles.
- Continually seek to improve the way in which the role operates within the business to achieve its objectives.
- Undertake other duties that management may reasonably request.
- Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faults with mechanical & hydraulic machinery.
- A knowledge of the assembly & disassembly of machinery, plant and/or equipment.
