- Oversee day-to-day security operations within the shopping center.
- Collaborate with the Safety & Security Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and standards related to safety and security.
- Provide support and guidance to the security team in the execution of their duties, including incident response and emergency procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of safety and security reports, including incident reports and monthly security reports.
- Collaborate with the Safety & Security Manager to develop and implement safety and security training programs for coworkers, tenants, contractors and visitors.
- Assist in conducting regular emergency drills to ensure readiness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in the management of safety and security equipment, including CCTV system, access control systems, and fire management system.
- Review and approve permit to work, including hot work permits, impairment permits, working at height permits, and other safety and security permits.
- Developing and implementing rules, guidelines and routines for all co-workers, tenants, contractors and visitors working in the shopping centre.
- Assist the unit to meet the intended level of Safety and Security by achieving positive results during Sec Check and insurance inspections.
- Monitor internal and external incidents and accidents, providing rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies in the Center. Managing the incidents and investigations and cooperating with the State authorities.
- Conduct internal safety and security audits, prepare and hold evacuation drills, firefighting equipment testing in order to ensure highest level of safety in the premises.
- Conduct inspections of the tenants' premises and all common premises (technical, service areas, storages etc.) and ensure that the violations of the fire safety and security are eliminated.
- Assist the Safety & Security Manager to coordinate with insurance adjusters and provide necessary information for claims processing.
- Conduct pre-opening inspections to ensure that tenant fit-out activities comply with company safety and security guidelines.
- Review and approve tenant fit-out drawings submitted by the Tenant Management team as per company guidelines.
- Coordinate with external contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure that safety and security measures are integrated into fit-out processes and construction projects.
- Budget responsible for security services and provision means to ensure safety and security of the Centre.
- Assist the Safety & Security Manager for developing and implementing safety and security training program in accordance with the company's demands and standards.
- Assist in coordinating with local authorities and emergency services during emergencies or crisis situations.
- Contribute actively in various meeting.
- Lead the OPS team in different assignments, working efficient in a matrix organization
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Health/Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a safety and security management role, preferably in a shopping center or similar retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety and security laws, codes, and standards related to shopping centers.
- Strong understanding of safety and security issues. Fundamentals of criminal and civil law.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety and security risks.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out processes related to retail and commercial spaces, including construction timelines, site logistics, and safety considerations.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, and fire safety equipment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to design and deliver the complete training packages and programs.
- Risk assessment and accident prevention skills, knowledge of firefighting skills.
- Financial responsibility and budgeting experience.
