- A bachelor's degree in communication, or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in communications and a
- proven track record in the industry.
- Ability to work irregular hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to
- manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Drivers licence is essential
- Develop and execute internal communication plans to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and culture.
- Draft and distribute internal newsletters, announcements to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Co ordinate with department heads to gather information and updates for internal communication materials.
- Manage internal communication platforms and promotions to facilitate employee engagement and interaction.
- Draft compelling external communication materials, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and blog posts to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Monitor industry trends and news to identify opportunities for effective external communications.
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing newsletters and mailers to nurture leads, promote products/services, and drive engagement.
- Analyse email performance metrics and open rates.
- Develop engaging social media copy for various platforms, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Monitor social media channels and relevant industry forums for brand mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Write and edit high-quality content for various purposes, including website copy, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop content that resonates with target audiences and supports marketing and sales objectives.
