The Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA) is a non-profit international research institute dedicated to food, nutrition, and livelihood security as well as environmental rehabilitation in South Asia, which is home to more than 300 million undernourished people. Please refer to this website for more information: .We are seeking dynamic, innovative, self-motivated, and service-oriented professionals for the position of Office Auxiliary.The position will be based in Ludhiana.The main responsibilities of this position will be:

Cleaning and maintenance of the office premises
General Office assistance like photocopying, scanning, printing, handling EPBAX etc.
Assist in dispatch of documents and logging of incoming & outgoing letters/documents.
Filling of documents and other administrative support
Support during workshops, meetings, training, field day, conferences etc.
Help maintain daily duty rooster/attendance for third party workers.
Act as back-up support if other auxiliary staff are on leave.
Execute any other activities assigned by the supervisor.

RequirementsWe are seeking candidates with the following academic qualifications, experience, skills, and attitudes:

Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass.
At least 3 years’ experience of performing similar jobs.
Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
Basic knowledge of English.

The position is for an initial fixed-term contract of 1 year with annual renewal subject to performance. Thereafter, the contract would be renewed based on overall performance and the continued availability of funds.
