SUMMARY RealPage Delivery Function is building the next generation enterprise platform to standardize customer data collection for product implementations. The Quality Engineer I will play an important role in accelerating the product development roadmap to deliver an enterprise platform which will be used across Realpage customers, solution consultants and Implementation specialists. Realpage is looking for a Software Quality engineers who will work with software developers to improve software products during development. In this role, you will participate in testing activities within the Software Development Lifecycle from reviewing/evaluating requirements, developing test cases, executing unit-tests, manual test cases, to reporting and tracking defects in defect management tools. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with product owners, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage, and increase product reliability. Familiarity with C# & typescript unit-test best practices and industry standards. Actively communicate test status, including risks, issues, defects, and potential impacts. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Perform setup and administration of tools used by the testing team. Collaborate with other team members to resolve any issues or defects. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior. Continual learning of quality best practices and technologies May help coordinate technical dependencies with other teams. Work with US based project team members with 4-hours overlap from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years' hands on experience in testing execution within the .NET and Angular frameworks. Familiarity with test scripts in the .NET framework using xUnit and Moq. Familiarity with test scripts in the Angular framework using Jasmine/Karma. Good knowledge of new standard industry tools for logging bugs and managing test cases. Solid understanding of Agile development Preferably knowledge and experience with application performance test plan and design. Experience in writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary reports.
