- Working with other government agencies and social services to identify areas for product/service standardisation across health and government related service settings e.g: home care, schools, prisons, defence etc
- Leading multiple programmes and developing collaborative relationship management regimes with NHS and public sector suppliers, ensuring maximum return on investment on commercial spend across the whole of the public sector
- Reviewing and negotiating draft contracts for category area
- Actively managing the marketplace through development of key strategies for supplier and contract management
- Pursuing procurement excellence through the implementation of efficient and effective procurement projects within key markets
- Developing, maintaining, and leading professional relationships
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to make sure compliance in the use of agreements
- Knowledge and experience of working within construction space
- Understanding of market and procurement terminology
- Team leadership/ management experience
- Supplier relationship management with collaborator management experience
- Knowledge of UK Public Contracts Regulations & New Procurement Act 2023
- CIPS Level 4 or above
- Background within construction with knowledge of NEC and JCT
- Construction related qualifications
