9 candidats • CDI La Rochelle (17)Description du posteYour job is to ensure that the game is functioning properly and that there are no glitches or errors. You will play the game from start to finish, looking for any problems that may occur and you will test different aspects of the game, such as the graphics, sound and gameplay. You must be thorough in your evaluations in order to find any potential issues with the game.
You also play the game to make sure it is fun and engaging. You know how to provide feedback to developers on how to improve the game and may also work on creating test plans and reports.Role & responsibilities :
  • Create builds for testing and troubleshooting where necessary
  • Create and execute test plans for development features with the designers
  • Work with the development team to get bugs fixed
  • Report on bugs including communicating across departments on issues and their status
  • Coordinate meetings and external playtesting
  • Work with the producers to analyze and disseminate feedback
  • Plan QA phases for release on various platforms
  • Provide critique and feedback on usability and design
Profil recherchéYou

  • You have already worked in game development for consoles and PC
  • You have 1+ year in QA role (Yes Junior, I am talking to you - take a leap of faith ! )
  • You are fond of video games, you are an eclectic gamer
  • You have a solid grasp of project management and bug-tracking
  • You are good at keeping track of and analyzing data and findings
  • You are able to self-manage, prioritize, and multi-task
  • You are familiar with game engines
  • You have some game development experience
You may need knowledge of a combination of the following software :
  • JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla
  • Google Suite
Bonus :
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5 is a real plus
  • Scripting languages & tools are always helpful (Python, LUA, C#, Unreal Script, Blueprints)
  • You worked on a game project from early development until release and LiveOps
  • You've handled external partner communication to organize large scale testing
  • You have experience in leading playtests of feature iterations during development
  • Experience with compliance testing on consoles
  • Experience in release management on consoles and PC

  • Salary may vary depending on experience
  • Permanent contract (CDI) on a 35h basis hour per week
