The role will also get involved in other aspects of finance function as the business continues its double-digit growth organically and through acquisitionsAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will be a high calibre accounting professional, trained in practice, looking for their first move into industry, educated to a degree-level with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.You are technically strong, familiar with IFRS reporting requirements, able to research accounting topics and recommend on the treatments. You are analytical, result-oriented, curious, a team-player and always there to help your colleagues. You work-well under pressure, have a can-do mindset and an ability to prioritise your work to meet the deadlines. A keen learner, you are interested in developing your career through working in various aspects of finance and the business.The area of responsibility includes:
  • Take ownership and improve on the month-end closing procedures for timely and accurately reporting.
  • Ensure relevant external reporting and tax compliances are prepared and submitted within the deadlines.
  • Lead the Balance Sheet reconciliation process
  • Advise and assist the finance teams in technical accounting queries.
  • Prepare the master and local files in according to transfer pricing guidelines for applicable jurisdictions.
  • Key contributor to the Group and the local legal entities’ audits.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the compilation of the Finance Manual.
  • Ad hoc projects as directed by the senior managers.
Competence and experienceRequirements:
  • Excellent technical accounting skills
  • You are academically strong, and degree educated and trained in the practice
  • Qualified accountant with 3 –5 years of post-qualification experience
  • You are highly analytical, self-driven n, proactive and able to take own initiative and have a positive can-do attitude and good co-operation skills.
  • You are structured and able to prioritize and deliver at deadlines and thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written) is essential.
  • Another European language is a plus.
  • Good excel and system competence
  • Experience or knowledge of Nordic and/or European accounting requirements is an advantage.
