Each Godrej Properties development combines the over 125-year legacy of excellence and trust with a commitment to cutting-edge design, technology, and sustainability.About the roleAs a Senior Manager - Sustainability, you will drive ESG initiatives in real estate, focusing on decarbonisation, waste management, and stakeholder engagement for impactful sustainability outcomes.Key responsibilities1. Manage ESG issues

Develop and execute plans to reduce carbon emissions across real estate portfolios by leveraging renewable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainable transportation solutions
Advocate for and adopt green building standards, incorporating sustainable construction materials and waste management systems to minimise environmental impact and improve long-term sustainability

2. Monitor ESG reporting and frameworks

Evaluate and integrate ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, GRESB, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNGC, and MSCI into corporate sustainability strategies, ensuring comprehensive and accurate disclosure of environmental, social, and governance performance
Monitor and analyse ESG metrics against industry peers and benchmarks, providing insights to stakeholders and senior management to drive continuous improvement and enhance sustainability performance.

3. Nurture stakeholder relationships

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
Influence stakeholders by articulating compelling arguments and demonstrating the value of proposed initiatives or strategies.

Who are we looking for?Education:

MBA from a premiere institute

Experience:

Experience in supply chain sustainability, including sustainable sourcing, supplier engagement and capacity-building initiatives

Skills:

Good research and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of ESG issues relevant to the real estate industry, including decarbonisation, waste management, green building standards and sustainable construction materials
Deep understanding of ESG reporting and rating frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, GRESB, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNGC and MSCI
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders
