- We are looking for Sales & Business Development Manager
- The Account Manager is responsible for maintenance of current customer relationships and developing business opportunities for Renewable Fibers business in Asia, mainly in China. The account manager shall run complete sales process from offering to contract, in close cooperation with regional sales manager APAC and Global Marketing.
- Together with the Regional Sales Manager APAC, identifying key growth drivers in order to find new customers for Renewable Fibers. This job will also include finding new opportunities in the markets together with R&D and Marketing and convert into new business.
- The Account Manager shall also work as in internal coordinator to communicate with customer service team, logistic team, R&D team, PSRA team, Global Marketing and external service supplier (if any) to ensure that our product meets all the policy and regulation requirements in APAC region and to balance customer requests.
- Market intelligence is an important part in this job to support marketing and business strategy. The Account Manager is responsible for research of market dynamics for Renewable Fibers, in order to support growth strategy. The Account Manager will keep analysis of market trends, competition, dynamics and market shares up to date, report it back periodically. Closely cooperate with Regional Sales Manager on pricing and volume allocation to customers within the region.
- Manage existing accounts in Asia, particularly China and India market. Maintain business with existing customers through frequent commercial interactions including customer visits and industrial trade events. Deliver the P&L budget target and growth initiatives.
- Develop new business opportunities in Asia market, with a focus on new application either directly or via distribution channels.
- Responsible to update the demand forecast tools and customer relationship management (CRM) of the customers.
- Communicate with logistic team, R&D team, PSRA team and external service supplier (if any) to ensure that our product meets all the policy and regulation requirements in APAC region to satisfy the customer requirements.
- Closely monitor market movement about Renewable Fibers, including relative industrial regulation & capacity change, supply/demand analysis, new applications development, and the Import & Export trade data.
- Conduct market investigations Renewable Fibers in Asia to deliver reports about competitiveness analysis, communicate with external third parties, consulting companies and data suppliers for specific project/application study.
- Participate exhibitions and conferences for info collection, including new application development and seeking potential customers and business partner.
- Achieve the annual sales & profit target and company business goal.
- Minimum Bachelor degree, (major in business or Chemical related subject but not restricted)
- Minimum 3 years of sales and business development working experience but not restricted.
- Experience with market research and new business development.
- Knowledge about international trading, customer service and logistic flow is mandatory.
- Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken), knowledge of other Asian language is a plus.
- Accept traveling internationally and flexible working hour (out of official working hour).
- Good Microsoft Office skills particularly Power Point, Excel and experience with SAP system, Power BI; CRM and Arkieva.
- Team player and good communication skills.
- High customer focus, self-disciplined; independent and able to work without much guidance.
