Are you a QTS English Teacher looking for a new challenge? Have you thought about teaching small groups of students with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs? This wonderful SEMH school is looking to add an experienced English Teacher to the team in readiness for September 2024. This role requires an English Teacher with good classroom management skills, a passion for all things English Language and Literature.In this role you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students that have SEMH needs. You will be supported by a wonderful team of pastoral and support staff, who will take responsibility for managing individuals' behaviour, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging English lessons. This role requires a QTS or QTLS English Teacher and is not suitable for an ECT.
Job Role:
- Teaching English to small classes of KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs.
- Breaking down academic and social barriers for students.
- Making English interesting for students who have become disengaged with education.
- Utilising a team of experienced Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support.
- A long-term term English Teaching opportunity.
