We are a multicultural and dynamic team based mostly in Basel, Switzerland. We audit risk-based business processes globally. The business processes include functional areas such as commercial, IT, research, development, production and supply for all core Roche businesses (Pharma and Diagnostics). The development of our team members is strongly supported within Group Audit and the Roche Group.In this exciting and challenging role, you will be joining Group Audit (within Group Audit & Risk Advisory) as Audit Director R&D and Supply Chain (Pharma and Diagnostics). You will report to the head of Group Audit & Risk Advisory and lead a team of 8 to 10 professionals. Ensuring effective implementation and execution, fostering a “one team” spirit and a leadership mindset.Ensuring that an impactful annual audit plan for the R&D and Supply Chain area is developed, approved and diligently executed, including supervision of the actual audit engagements and action plan implementation phase.Supervising, developing and coaching audit engagement team leaders and team members. This includes a proper induction for each newcomer, conducting the annual performance evaluation, discussing the development plan and ensuring that appropriate engagement performance evaluations are performed.Having a good functional understanding and a good grasp of the company’s strategy, developments, and risk in order to plan and develop the audit plan for its area of responsibility reflecting the priorities and key risks of the Roche Group.Building and developing relationships and maintaining adequate communication channels to divisional, functional and/or global management as well as within Group Audit & Risk Advisory.Ensuring that the methodology and processes within Group Audit are best in class by developing audit processes, procedures and tools and staying abreast with the latest developments in the business and internal audit.Who you areLeadership: Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams through effective communication, motivation, and coaching. Multiple years of experience gained in a similar role (Internal Audit or Strategy consultant) or a Senior Management position within a large multinational group. In addition, solid working business experience (sales & marketing, supply chain, operations, etc.) ideally in the healthcare industry is a plusCommunication: Excellent verbal and written skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear, concise manner, through different levels of Roche.Collaboration: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across Roche.Excellent business acumen, process and risk knowledge.Education: You hold a Master's degree in the field of business administration, natural sciences or similar.Excellent language skills in English and one additional language is an advantage.Relevant qualification(s) (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE) and/or “hands on” leadership experience in R&D and/or supply chain are a plusSome travel is required.Be part of our inclusive team at Roche Internal Audit in Basel.
