1Police Constable and Detective Constable TransfereesCheshire Constabulary are now open for applications for PCs and DCs that wish to transfer to Cheshire from any other Home Office force.Cheshire Constabulary's purpose is to deliver even safer communities for the whole of Cheshire by preventing and tackling crime, making Cheshire's roads safer, delivering justice for victims of crime, protect vulnerable and at-risk people and modernising our police service.As a police officer here in Cheshire, you will be at the very heart of protecting local communities, driven by motivation to keep people safe.You will pride yourself on acting with integrity and honesty and have the highest respect for diversity amongst your colleagues and the communities you serve.If you have a proven track record of delivering excellent policing, are operationally credible and ambitious to be a key member of a team committed to delivering ambitious policing then we would welcome an application from you.We have the following priority roles to recruit to and will be particularly keen to progress officers interested in transferring as/into:
  • Response
  • Area Investigation Teams.
  • Authorised Firearms Officers.
  • Detectives - Reactive CID.
  • Detectives - Vulnerability.
  • Crime Trainers.
In addition, we are keen to progress officers with the following skills/training:
  • PIP2 Qualified Detectives.
  • Level 1 Public Order Trained.
  • Search trained.
  • Tutor Constables.
  • Advanced driver, in particular TPAC and Motorway.
  • OSPRE/NPPF qualified.
