- Great understanding of consumers and business challenges, knowing how to translate them into operational recommendations:
- Understand, analyze and synthesize consumer insights and data: from quanti/quali studies to performance indicators (acquisition, products & analytics, etc.).
- Know how to strike the right balance between "brand" vision and "performance": understand the challenges of offline and online acquisition.
- Acquire a good knowledge of the different European and US markets in terms of competition, communications, products, etc..., so as to be able to constructively challenge recommendations.
- Brand Management :
- Reflection on the positioning of the brand portfolio and their respective territories of communication.
- Update brand book + work on messaging in collaboration with the Global Communication Manager.
- Collaborate with Product teams (Design, CRM, UX) on consistency vs. brand positioning.
- Development of European communication strategies:
- Develop briefs for the annual communications campaign after gathering insights from business lines.
- Supply advertising material for Europe and the US and oversee local adaptations for all touchpoints (TV, radio, online video, OOH, press, digital, SoMe, PR, CRM, landing pages etc...).
- Monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness and profitability of campaigns in collaboration with the Business teams.
- Contribute to the development of the Content strategy in Europe and supervise its implementation in collaboration with the Content, Design & Brand Studio Manager.
- Manage the advertising agency: challenge it while working collaboratively.
- International coordination and management
- Lead on several brands in the international portfolio (US mainly).
- Directly manage a Digital Brand Manager
- Ensure consistency of communication at different consumer touchpoints (message, visuals, copywriting) in close collaboration with team members.
- Monitor and manage marketing budgets dedicated to the creation of advertising media
- Coordinate rights monitoring
- Business-oriented with a strategic vision, you're passionate about brand positioning and creative.
- A good listener, with influential leadership and excellent cross-functional management skills at an international level, you create bonds of trust and transparency with both internal and external contacts.
- Education/qualifications: BAC+5 from a business school or university.
- Experience: +8 years working in a similar position in B to C with strong brands, in an international group. Knowledge of the US market is a strong asset.
- Business/technical skills: analytical & synthetic mind, marketing strategy, brand positioning, creative sensitivity, advertising (production and adaptation), excellent project management skills, international coordination.
- Soft skills: good interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability to different people, leadership, team spirit. Ability to assert oneself while listening.
- Proactive in giving recommendations.
- Additional information: multicultural, matrix and complex environment, fluent English required.
