You will be responsible to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for secondary children.Role Overview: As a Science Technician, your responsibilities will include laboratory management, equipment maintenance, experiment preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, and data recording and analysis. You may also have some in class responsibilities assisting with experiments and helping to maintain good classroom behaviour.Key Responsibilities: * Manage laboratory facilities efficiently as a Science Technician.
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical lessons and experiments.
- Ensure inventory of laboratory supplies and materials are completed.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers to support practical sessions and demonstrations.
- Record and analyze experimental data accurately.
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Continuously update scientific knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
