Underwriting Analyst - BellvilleFull job descriptionWhat will you do?We have a position available for an Underwriting Analyst who will be based in Cape Town (Head Office) in our Santam Broker Solutions: Underwriting (Personal Lines) department.What will make you successful in this role? The purpose of the role is to support Personal Lines: Performance of POST Action analytical Data reviews.Manage the Client Screening system.Approval of Discount MandatesPerformance analysis of data and identification of corrective actions.Engage with Actuarial to drive growth and improve profitability.Analyse and build statistical models for various sets of data on regular basis to assist in determining business trends.Assist with report and process automation.Pro-actively identifies phenomena to be tested and explored.Monitor results of all action plans implemented.Analytical support to internal divisions (Underwriting Services – SBS/SCS).Report writing and presentations.Manage data cleansing and data quality control.
