Durban North, Durban - Kwa Zulu Natal - South AfricaOur client, which operates in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a candidate with solid experience managing high volumes of complex invoicing in a mediumto large company.In addition, a thorough understanding of a manufacturing business and its intricate processes is required to streamline cost analysis and facilitate accurate, reliable job costings.As the Manager, you will work closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure the company's financial stability. Your responsibility will be to ensure that monthly invoices and credits are accurately applied to each client account and that final outwork costs from vendors are received and accurate. Your ability to interpret and interact with financial systems is critical in this role, which will also include managing invoicing and costing staff.Essential Qualification, Experience and Skills:Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- CA (SA) or CIMA Qualification
- 5 - 8 years of Costing and Invoicing experience, with 2-3 years being in a leadership position
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Working knowledge of Tax Principles
- Working Knowledge of Exports
- Microsoft NAV experience
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation.
- Effective report writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- SQL Database knowledge would be an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software
