- Lead and motivate all his contractors, and others under his control in maintenance execution.
- Execute the HEMP and Safety Critical Activities by specific performance standards as per the ME process & align with CD&A for safe and reliable operation.
- Lead the maintenance execution for both PM and CM (for non-vital equipment and SCE) and follow strictly to requirements stated in departmental work instructions and procedures.
- Guide, advise, and troubleshoot technical/operational problems in expertise.
- Ensure maintenance execution for non-vital equipment are in place, such as transmitter, control valve, analyzers, etc
- Assist the Team Lead in carrying out RCA and seek improvement on the reliability of the equipment.
- Assist the operating department with instrument engineering matters and define time for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with all HSSE requirements including subordinates and contractors, especially for critical activities including confined space entry, work at height, etc.
- Responsible for strictly following Safe Work Permit requirements.
- Responsible for rectifying all findings in the area of responsibility.
- Will be on the callout duty roster and require responding to ERT whenever needed.
- Contribute to the high safety performance of the site through visible safety leadership.
- Led the coordination of Instrument/ QMI resources, both Shell MDS and Contractor Partners to deliver.
- routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities safely, timely, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Provides prioritization capability to ensure maintenance resources are delivered per ME prioritization levels, adhering to department processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Provide supervision and ensure quality execution of HEMP and Safety Critical Activities by approved performance standards to ensure safe and reliable operations of assets maintained.
- Support Senior Technician, Provide first-line troubleshooting, technical advice, and guidance to mechanical & civil technicians around.

- Conducts assurance via SAP P49 to ensure work orders are managed and closed with quality and adequate history capturing.
- Implement procedures, work instructions, and other critical documentation necessary to manage and capture the execution of maintenance activities consistently and pragmatically for record keeping. Maintain proper engineering records and maintenance reports.
- Possesses proactive work attitude, communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Contribute to developing long-term plans and improvement to areas of responsibility.
- With 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrument Engineering
- In-depth knowledge and skill in specific Conventional Instruments and QMI maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of IPF methodology and skill with IPF testing practices.
- Conversant with the full integration of the control system with IPS and other instrument sub-systems.
- Technically conversant with process controls with proven knowledge and should have proven exposure to modern refinery systems and business processes.
