This position will provide key inputs for mission planning concepts and creating innovative data reporting products in order to plan, execute and analyze multiple live (open air) while facilitating virtual (Systems Integration Lab/Virtual Warfare Center) experiment efforts. This position would be a direct report to the MDI Lead Demo Manager.Boeing Phantom Works Multi-Domain Integration (MDI) organization connects, integrates & demonstrates multi-domain effects from Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) platforms, products and technologies. We plan, execute, and report on integrated cross-platform/cross-program demonstrations to highlight to various DoD customers how Boeing provides multi-domain solutions to Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) warfighting challenges. Additionally, we work with senior DoD leaders to develop warfighting CONOPS, conduct use-case analysis and evaluate performance trades to counter advancing threat capabilities. Finally, we integrate advanced communications, networks, and command and control technologies to support the DoD JADC2 initiatives, including ABMS, Project Overmatch and Project Convergence.Phantom Works is the front end of the business in BDS, with a focus on maturing technology, rapid prototyping, and transitioning of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group tests and demonstrates mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. We work on technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements generation, and develop (design, build, integration, test) demonstrations of products in their relevant environments.Position Responsibilities:The technical advisor for JADC2-related demonstration efforts, including cross-platform and potentially multi-proprietary activities, with special attention to technical integrity, safety, quality, and product assuranceWorks with roughly 15-member multi-disciplinary test team of managers and engineers integrating activities across BDS platform programs to conduct integrated demonstration activitiesParticipates in development and execution of integrated MDI demonstration plans and procedures and provides input on technical strategies, goals, and objectivesSupports organizational efforts related to BDS & PW engineering initiatives and process improvementsAids test teams in planning, execution, and analysis of demo/test events, including virtual, open air and live exercise activitiesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). With ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science5+ years of experience working with or on an engineering team5+ years of experience in project management for both small and large projectsExperience in working with classified technologies and programsAre you able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time domesticallyTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
