In line with the growing importance of the site within the Gerflor Group, the key tasks include performance analysis, implementation of reliable production standards and management of optimization / CAPEX projects.Your role:▪ Analyse the production process (extrusion, varnishing, milling, compounding), identify bottle-necks and define corrective / preventive action▪ Manage optimization projects and introduce new production methods▪ Improve OEE and process stability by implementing effective production standards and continuous improvement measures▪ Provide technical support and trouble-shooting to ensure safe and efficient delivery of performance targets▪ Identify and implement cost reduction actions▪ Closely cooperate with the Plant Manager and R&D in qualifying, implementing and optimizing new production processes▪ Map the process, monitor critical KPI and update technical documentation▪ Proactively support the HSE and Quality management▪ Technical education in process engineering, industrial engineering or plastics technology▪ Knowledge of extrusion and/or compounding is an advantage▪ Practical working experience in process industries (plastics, chemical industry, paper, steel, etc.) and expertise in lean manufacturing tools (5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)▪ Good analytical and project management skills▪ Good communication skills in French and technical English, Dutch would be an advantage▪ A very pragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented mind-set▪ Self-starter attitude and a good portion of inquisitivenessOur offer:▪ Opportunity to work in a successful multinational company▪ Room for learning and personal development▪ Flat hierarchies and direct impact▪ Long-term perspectives
