As a Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported in their journey towards personal growth and success.Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-on-one and group support to primary-aged students with behavioral challenges, helping them to develop positive coping strategies and social skills.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and rapport to support their emotional well-being and academic progress.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to implement behavior management strategies and support plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive activities designed to promote social-emotional development, resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Act as a positive role model for students, demonstrating empathy, patience, and respect in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young children in a behavioral school or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting children through challenging situations.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and success.
