- Assist the Theatre Manager in guiding, instructing, advising, and evaluating staff to ensure their growth needs are recognized and addressed.
- Develop and implement personalized plans for continuous growth.
- Provide supervision and instruction to junior staff, Registered General Nurses (RGNs), Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), and conduct clinical supervision.
- Play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall quality of the Operating Department to foster exceptional clinical care.
- Serve as a paragon of clinical proficiency, leading, managing, and delivering top-tier clinical care.
- Prepare operating theatre facilities for surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are in place while minimizing waste.
- Evaluate the health and well-being of patients across diverse and evolving cases
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within teams and with minimal supervision
- Prior leadership experience preferred, though we provide award-winning training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic scrub experience
- Must possess a passionate and driven attitude, showcasing dynamic thinking
- Completion of SFA (Surgical First Assistant) training is advantageous
