- Reporting to the CEO and assuming overall responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the insurance company's digital business.
- Collaborating closely with the IT team, other business owners, underwriting and actuarial team, claims team, risk management, legal, and compliance team.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identifying new digital business opportunities within the insurance industry, including areas such as general insurance, pension, life insurance, and healthcare.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of digital products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify areas for innovation and business growth.
- Building and managing strategic partnerships with technology vendors, insurtech startups, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the company's digital capabilities.
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on digital initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, as the Chief Digital Officer will report to the CEO and collaborate with P&L owners, the IT team, and other key stakeholders.
- Extensive experience and expertise in both general insurance and life insurance, with a deep understanding of the digital landscape within these sectors.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets in the digital domain, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute digital strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
