London/Essex basedThe CompanyOur client is a leading a highly reputable high-end residential and commercial contractor who work on some of the most prestigious luxury projects across London.Several highly prestigious projects have started within a 20-mile radius of London. These projects consist of super prime developments of values at approximately £1.5M to £3.5M. These projects are on behalf of extremely high net-worth individuals.Our client is one of the most modern, forward thinking high-end residential contractors in the UK focusing on their internal collaborative approach and their reputation is growing year on year.This is an amazing opportunity to work for one of the most respected High-End Refurbishment contractors in the London and be involved in some on the most amazing projects around London.The role of the Quantity Surveyor:Reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Overall responsibility for the delivery of the project
- Calculate all the prime costs on developments within the business.
- Deal with valuations & payment notices
- Provide a detailed cost budget plan and share with the site team
- Maintain schedules of quantities and price them for the prime cost budget.
- Prepare estimates of all costs including sub-contractors & materials.
- Exposure to contract manager duties to gain a detailed understanding of all projects
- 3+ years’ experience working with a High-End refurbishment contractor
- Experience working on JCT Contracts
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Ambitious & Driven!
