Learning Support Assistant£380-£400King’s NortonASAP Start, Full timeABC Teachers are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for a role in a well-established SEND school in King’s Norton, starting as soon as possible on a long term, ongoing basis.About the role:
  • Supporting 1:1 and in small nurture groups in a class setting.
  • Successfully adapt to the needs of students, providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist the class teacher with general tasks, behaviour management and preparation of materials when required.
  • This is a full-time, ongoing role. The school are also looking for staff looking for more flexible work for other roles too.
About the school:
  • Caters for students from Primary to post-16, who have a primary diagnosis or Autism, and some additional needs.
  • A forward thinking and committed school, that does it’s all to meet the needs of the students and help them achieve the best of their ability.
About you:To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant position, you will:
  • Effective communication skills, able to adapt to quickly changing situations and children’s individual needs
  • Establish positive rapport with students and staff.
  • Passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.What we offerAs a Learning Support Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from:
