- Develop and maintain the Group Risk assurance methodology,
- Drive risk- based prioritization of testing activities as part of the assurance planning process, and plan activities to ensure efficient use of testing resources across plans.
- Develop and execute control testing plans and monitor control deficiencies alongside other assurance providers in Flutter Group.
- Manage execution of control tests including process coordination of testing process with stakeholders, managing testing activities and reviewing the quality of work performed.
- Support and leverage Group Risk analytics in creating risk & control insights, using analytics capabilities during test planning, fieldwork and reporting and building out control datasets.
- Ensure compliance of testing with the assurance methodology agreed by assurance providers.
- Develop the Flutter risk universe to support the identification and prioritization of testing and reporting of results and coverage.
- Provide oversight and challenge of the identification, assessment and management of key Risks and Controls across Group Functions, monitoring and tracking progress on rectification of deficiencies identified and identify risk themes from testing conducted.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior management in Flutter Group
- Monitoring adherence to policies and procedures, and ensuring key policies are reviewed
- Contribute to our internal community of practice, including our Aligned Assurance capability
- Experience: 7+ years’ experience in a similar role or industry operating in a fast paced and high performing commercial environment preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Previous experience leading in a testing, monitoring, assurance and risk management context is essential. Relevant experience in a similar role within a Risk, Assurance, Compliance or Internal Audit Function, preferably working in a Three Lines of Defence (3LOD) Risk Management organisation with a track record of delivering high quality risk or compliance oversight across multiple products and entities is required.
- Analytics: Strong ability to translate data sets logically into stories and tailor them for different audiences and purposes. Strong data analytics capability is strongly advantageous but not essential.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complicated matters in simple language is required as is a demonstrated track record of managing senior stakeholders in a complex, fast paced environment.
