Job Description:Job DescriptionRole : Senior Software EngineerLevel: L6Location : BangaloreJob Summary –A mid- level Software Developer to work on a critical and complex project for one of our biggest clients in analytical instrumentation domain. In this role, the individual will join a dynamic and collaborative environment, encouraging cross team development between Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Data Application departments. Specifically, the individual will join our R&D section of our client which develops our Chromatography Separations based Technologies.The instrumentation being developed and maintained involves many electro-mechanical sub-systems which provide an exciting opportunity for learning system dynamics and integration of the different technologies.Years of experience needed – 6+ years of hands-on within this technical field as software engineer.Technical Skills: Expert in developing C++ applications in Linux. Knowledge on Linux kernel and driver programming. Experience in developing applications using Moden C++ Experience in writing and debugging multiple thread application in Linux using C++. Strong debugging skills in Linux with knowledge on different debugging tools like gdb and valgrind Experience in network programming using C++. Experience in using Git. A strong familiarity with a structured software development environment is necessary. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Candidate must be highly motivated and self-disciplined. Applicant should have the skill to self-manage with good independence and results oriented. Good oral and written communication skills. Experience working within a multi-geographic team. Experience software development in Linux. Experience with C/C++ must. Additionally, desirable: familiarity with good laboratory practice related to testing, test data collection, documentation and presentation, interpretation of wiring diagrams / schematics.
