Axcis Education are seeking a teaching assistant, for a long term, full-time role in a mainstream secondary school in the Chorley area. The school, is a large secondary school based on the outskirts of Chorley. The school are a large mainstream secondary school and they are hoping to appoint a teaching assistant to work across KS3 and KS4. The school is an Ofsted judged "good" school and behaviour generally in school is very good. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to work with pupils who require a little bit of extra support in class. The role will start as soon as possible, on a long term basis. The role will start as soon as possible and school hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who have additional needs and some challenging behaviours. The candidate, must have experience working with students who have additional needs and must be comfortable working across KS3 and KS4. The candidate must be available to start within the month on a full time basis.
