Arganteal seeks an English speaking Mexico based Cisco Route Switch Architect with a CCIE certification (expired is ok) to perform remote work during the evening hours of 8pm CST to 5am CST.Job Title: Route Switch Architect (CCIE Certified) Language: Must speak EnglishLocation: Remote anywhere in Mexico (We are using geolocation IP address blocking)Payment Terms: NET 45 with weekly invoicing Hourly Rate: $60.00 US Dollars per hourDuration: 6 monthsStart Date: February 19, 2024Job Summary:As a Route Switch Engineer with CCIE certification, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of our enterprise network infrastructure. Your expertise in routing and switching technologies will ensure the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security of our network to meet the needs of our clients and support our business objectives.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement complex routing and switching solutions to support business requirements, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and data centers.
Expertise with Nexus OEM Hardware
Troubleshoot and resolve high-level network issues involving routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and other network services.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and to implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network access controls.
Manage and lead network-related projects, coordinating with other departments and external vendors as necessary.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, processes, and service records.
Participate in on-call rotation for network emergencies and provide escalation support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

CCIE certification in Routing and Switching.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on routing and switching in a large enterprise environment.
Proficient with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS platforms.
Deep understanding of network protocols and services, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and IPv6.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
Strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline network operations.
Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.

Working Conditions: * Must work the 3rd shift or from 4pm CST to 1am CST

Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule for after-hours support.
