- Conduct preliminary commercial evaluation of tenders from subcontractors and appraise bids by liaising with Project Managers and Engineers to assess bids. Also advises unsuccessful bidders of result
- SAP input and maintenance of purchase orders, including goods receipt, journals and queries
- Reconcile data from accounts department with site records
- Maintain systems and procedures for contractual requirements
- Support end of month process as required
- Prepare and issue contract documentation, including variations
- Prepare and issue subcontractor progress claim documentation
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, commerce or equivalent
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
