- Day to day support of the London and Paris Desks:
- P&L reporting: Interact with traders and prepare and produce a Front Office P&L explain each day
- Run Credit Exotics Risk reports: Understand the impacts of new trades and the convexity of the position according to defined rules;
- Lead ad-hoc initiatives contributing to the enhancement of the Trading platform: Work on tools to monitor our various products, Work on some analysis on the behaviour of specific products, Interact with IT and Quantitative team to develop necessary tools
- Handle other tasks that are part of the mandate of the Structured Credit Team (Booking on behalf of and follow up on post-trades bookings, Credit Event management, etc.)
- Provide support to manage the setup of valuations of Structured Credit Notes and monitor valuations, investigate and check for discrepancies in comparison to the guidelines/benchmarks provided by the desk
- Support the ABS and CLO trading desk with quarterly security Due Diligence
- Monitor Risk report completion for the desk and produce information report
- Run ad hoc reports for Credit Exotics or ABS CLO Market Making
- Structured Notes Buy back:
- To provide liquidity through market making Structured Notes by participating in the secondary buy back of Structured Notes
- Be the single point of contact for secondary market making activity with a size delegation up to 1 million Euros
- Develop a good understanding of the product and liaise with the London team on trade execution
- Regularly check accuracy of pricing send to relevant systems
- Report to London team small size trading executed on the defined perimeter
- To book transactions, monitor, conduct follow-ups with Middle Office and Back office
- Master’s Degree in Finance/ Economics/ Financial Analysis/ Financial Markets/ Applied Maths
- Experience in Management positions
- Up to 2 years of relevant working experience in Finance, Economics, Financial Analysis, Financial markets or Applied Maths
- Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)

- BNP Paribas Global Credit is responsible for the primary (new issuance) and secondary trading of corporate (fins and non-fins) debt and related instruments such as CDS, indices, options and structured products. It comprises different roles such as syndicate, debt capital markets, trading, sales, structuring and desk analysts
- The Credit Trading Exotic provides a wide range of product to clients ranging from single name structures (such as CLN, repackaging of Bonds and bond options) to more complex portfolio transactions (such as CLO, CDO, FTD and skew trades). The ABS & CLO Market Making Desk focuses on market making of Asset Backed Securities and CLO’s
- The team in Lisbon supports the Structured Products Desks in their reporting activities and participates in the secondary market making activity by providing secondary liquidity for the desk with a size delegation up to 1M Euros
- You will have strong daily interactions with the quantitative and engineer profiles and became an expert over the whole range of financial products and their behaviours, while leveraging on mathematics and programing skills to carry out different analyses
