We are currently seeking Computer Science Teachers to join the dynamic and growing schools in Watford. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will have a solid understanding of the subject and be able to effectively engage students in both theoretical and practical courses.As a member of our team, you will be expected to:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.
  • Motivate students to learn and foster their intellectual curiosity and passion for the subject.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with relevant research and continuously improve your subject knowledge.
  • Promote open discussions and non-traditional learning methods, attend symposiums, and conduct independent research.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials.
  • Communicate with parents and counsellors regarding student progress.
To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Be proficient in utilising various instructional methodologies.
  • Have experience as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or have relevant experience in teaching Computer Science or ICT.
  • Be knowledgeable about safe working practises and the use of essential tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communications Technology, or a related field, along with a valid UK teaching certification (PGCE and/or QTS).
In order to work with GSL Education, you must:
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate with an expanded child barred list, registered on the online Updating Service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
