In addition, we cater for and provide hospitality for meetings and functions.What You Will DoYour duties will include the man management of staff, responsibility for communication and direction of all staff within your area. Organising staff duty rotas to include leave, in house training provision of high quality, safe and cost-effective catering service to patients, staff and visitors.You will maintain a high standard of hygiene and implement and comply with the legislative requirements required by the Food Safety Act 1990 which incorporates the Food Hygiene Regulations 2006 and the departmental HACCPMaintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout all Catering Departments to include main kitchen, dining areas, washing-up of all equipment, machinery, crockery, and cutlery associated with the catering service.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The JobYou are expected to hold a City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or an SVQ/NVQ qualification along with a Food Hygiene Certificate.You will be an organised person with kitchen management skills. Experience in large scale catering, preferably within NHS would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
