Pay Range: $43/hr. - $47/hr.
Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, core business hours between 7AM and 7PMWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Support Technician to oversee and maintain electrical systems across our data center campus. The ideal candidate will be proficient in tasks outlined in CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 roles, with a strong background in high availability environments such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing facilities. Familiarity with building management systems and National Electrical Code is essential, along with OSHA or NFPA 70E Certification.Note: This position requires hands-on experience with electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. The candidate must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.Responsibilities:
- Provide support for electrical infrastructures throughout the data center campus, spanning from large-capacity facilities to smaller units.
- Execute tasks including Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns for power meter replacement, and Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
- Ensure critical loads are maintained during power disruptions through proper shutdown procedures.
- Conduct master controller shutdowns or replacements as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Extensive experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data centers, with a minimum of 5 years of work or applied learning experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in high availability environments, including data centers, refineries, hospitals, or similar critical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and weekends.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Ability to complete tasks outlined in CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role descriptions.
- Familiarity with building management systems (EPMS) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and experience as a Qualified Electrical Worker is advantageous.
- OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification is mandatory.
