The Department of Environmental Quality is current looking to an Office Specialist position within the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation.
Principal Duties
  • Provide secretarial/clerical support for the DERR.
  • Scanning and file maintenance of the DERR files.
  • Assist with the PST certification program.
  • Assist with payment processing for the DERR.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person for this position will possess:
  • Excellent customer service skills in person, on the phone, and in writing.
  • Ability to use computer systems, computer word processing software; automated software applications; State or agency-specific software application program(s);and computer relational database software.
  • A dependable and responsible nature.
  • Possesses the ability to deal with individuals in professional, tactful, and sensitive manners.
  • Can communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely and read and understand presented information.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and learn new skills quickly.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well with others on a small team.
Preferences
  • High school graduate
  • Ability to type 40 WPM
  • Previous office and or scanning experience
