As a Senior Legal Counsel you will be part of the legal team consisting of 4 other team members including the Head of Legal.About the role:As a Senior Legal Counsel you will have a key position in the legal team, playing a pivotal role during a phase of strong growth of the company. You will be responsible for assessing, drafting and negotiating complex international agreements which often require strong customisation. You will be a sparring partner for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. internally with Commercial Managers, Project Managers and Tender Managers and externally with developers or contractors of a wind farm). Furthermore, you are a source of information for ad hoc legal issues, you supervise compliance with contractual agreements made and you ensure that legal awareness is created within the organization to prevent/correct legal risks and complications.About you:You are a lawyer or (senior) legal counsel who recognizes yourself in Sif’s core values: Ownership, Teamwork and Result oriented. You are confident, you have a hands-on mentality and you like to work in and with a professional team. With your intercultural communication skills, open attitude and self-confidence, you know how to convince your conversation partner of your point of view. You have a genuine interest in our products, the things you are working on and the people you are in contact with.You would like to work within a listed and international project organization, where you can also dedicate yourself to the sustainable energy transition. In addition, you have:– A masters degree in law (or equivalent) from a reputable university;
– More than 8 years of relevant work experience at a leading law firm and/or in an international in-house role;
– Extensive experience with commercial contracts, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sector;
– Good intercultural communication;
– Strong business acumen;
