As Baseband Security Engineer you will design and implement security & networking solutions through to supporting handover to operational support, considering multi-supplier/multi-platform environments across the estate. You will be key in supporting the delivery of Security Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise and IS/IT Architecture.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Design and implement security & networking solutions through to supporting handover to operational support, considering multi-supplier/multi-platform environments across the estate.
- Support the delivery of Security Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise and IS/IT Architecture
- Interpret and apply appropriate standards, policies and legislation whilst working with Information Assurance (IA) leads from the programme.
- Apply the principles of secure network, applications, gateways & interfaces across the estate.
- Evaluate new technologies and deliver cost benefit analysis to support business use cases
- Produce, peer-review and maintain high-level, low-level technical documentation and network schematics.
- Experience in implementing and supporting Cisco network and security technologies in enterprise environments
- A valid CCNP Security or CCNP Routing & Switching Certification
- Experience in design and implementation of Cisco ASA & Firepower (Inc. DMVPN, VPN, AMP & IPS) - SSE & ISE
- Experience in design and implementation of Cisco Catalyst Core, Catalyst Manager - Distribution & LAN Access Switching, WAN (SDA - SD-WAN Fabric deployment experience essential).
- A strong understanding of Cisco ASR/ISR Routing
- CCNP Security or CCNP Routing & Switching Certification
- HNC (Level 4) or equivalent in a STEM subject
