- An exciting opportunity to join our high performing Training Academy as a Training Officer.
- Your main responsibility will be to assist with relevant and timely training to new and current staff within the GMP operational departments.
- Training will focus on the skills required in all aspects of cell therapy manufacture according to GMP.
- Support with the design, scheduling, and recording of training sessions for initial/induction training, GMP practices, generic laboratory skills and formal aseptic qualifications.
- Assist with carrying out assessments and providing feedback following training sessions or observations of work practices.
- Assist with the administration of RoslinCT electronic training records.
- Review and manage initial Training Academy training plans for new manufacturing staff.
- Involvement in RoslinCT Training Academy external training courses.
- Coach staff in the RoslinCT culture and expectations, using feedback to add to ongoing staff development/support training.
- Keep up to date with innovations within the GMP departments and the ATMP sector to ensure training provisions are current.
- Complete quality related documentation including batch production records, change controls, incidents/deviations, and risk assessments in accordance with GMP and standard operating procedures.
- Experience of working within a GMP environment and knowledge of clean room manufacture.
- An understanding of cell culture, cellular therapies, or cell banking.
- A working knowledge of GMP regulations for ATMP manufacture.
- Willingness to provide support and training within office, laboratory, and clean room environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Enthusiastic, with a real passion for supporting and training staff.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a real desire to continually develop and improve our processes.
- A BSc in a Life Science subject or other equivalent experience.
