- Lead and manage a high-performing team of HR Business Partners, ensuring that they understand the organization's business objectives and work closely with your team to develop HR strategies that align with those goals and guide execution.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development to team members, promoting their growth and success with empathy and accountability.
- Guide HRBPs in analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhancing HR practices.
- Provide expert guidance and strategic insights to business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, total rewards, and employee engagement.
- Use data-informed insights to develop recommendations for optimizing HR strategies that support the company's short-term and long-term business goals.
- Oversee the implementation of HR processes and policies and foster a strong feedback loop with the HR Operations Team to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, both inside and outside HR, to ensure a seamless and productive work environment that engages employees and maintains outlined budgets.
- Bring both experience and creativity to Core HR Programming, supporting the team to implement changes that help FreshBooks develop, recognize, and reward high achievement across the organization.
- Partner with FreshBooks' HR and Legal functions and General Managers of the FreshBooks' Lines of Business as their direct Business Partner to creatively solve people challenges and celebrate successes.

- Proven track record 10+ years of dedicated experience in Senior HR Leadership roles:
- With 2-5+ years managing the HRBP / Talent Management team
- 5+ years of experience with multiple global entities in employment law
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
- Strong expertise in HR business partnering, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations in both Canada and the United States, and industry best practices, with a demonstrated ability to ensure compliance.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strategic mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills employing a data-informed approach to address complex HR challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize across competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels in the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment
- Have professional certifications such as CHRP, CHRL, SHRP, PHR or other HR designation and/or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are highly desirable.
