Offer DescriptionProfesor universitar, position 8The position within the Department of Automobiles and Transport, Faculty of Mechanics and Technology, National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (NUSTPB) is full-time.Initially subordinated to the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, the Institute of Subengineers was established in Pitesti in 1969, as a response to objective needs, determined by the development of the car manufacturing industry and especially that of passenger cars and auto parts (see factory DACIA). The initial specializations were: Automobiles and Cold Processing Technology. The Department of Automobiles and Transport, coordinates 5 study programs (bachelor's and master's) and has supervisors of doctoral theses in 2 fields: automotive engineering and mechanical engineering.Currently, the mission of the department is to continue the concerns for achieving excellence in the field of Automotive Engineering and consecrating it as the main department concerned with the issue of sustainable mobility at national level.The job subjects are:Fuels, lubricants and maintenance materials for vehicles 2CTechnical Thermodynamics 3CTechnical thermodynamics 2SAutomotive fuels and energy conversion 2C/2L - English language teachingAPPLICATIONBefore applying, all candidates are invited to read carefully the NUSTPB's Methodology for occupying didactic and research positions:RequirementsResearch Field Engineering » Mechanical engineering Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsAbility to guide ideas clearly through lectures, presentations and academic writing.
