  • Drives and implements the marketing and sales plans, in conjunction with the Program Director, Operations and Business Development and the General Manager.
  • Drive occupancy levels and meet or exceed established sales targets
  • Manage telephone inquiries and convert to personal visit bookings
  • Conduct personal visits, follow up on leads, close sales through lease signings
  • Track sales activity in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and analyze reports to identify sales trends specific to the community and residence.
  • Drive referrals and traffic,
  • Interacts with current residents during internal and external events
  • Supports brand management for Terraces and Baycrest through the implementation of social media marketing strategies.
Qualifications (include but are not limited to):
  • Post-secondary education with a preference to Business Administration, with a major in Sales, Marketing, Communication or Public Relations
  • Minimum 2 years of business experience, preferably in the retirement home industry, hospitality, health care, fundraising, or consumer sales sectors
  • Sales skills with a proven track record of success in direct sales
  • Proficiency with online technologies and social media is preferred
  • Knowledge of PCC software or other database management software preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include some weekends and/or evenings
  • Ability to demonstrate personal tact, empathy and patience with seniors and their families
