INTRODUCTIONMitsubishi Power is boldly accelerating the energy transition and moving the world towards a brighter, sustainable, and decarbonized world. We are already building large-scale hydrogen-fueled power plants and are rapidly expanding our portfolio to provide hydrogen production plants, as well as hydrogen storage and infrastructure solutions. In short, we are building a value chain for hydrogen, from production to use, through the integration of existing energy infrastructure with advanced hydrogen related technology. We have established the Takasago Hydrogen Park, a hydrogen production demonstration center that is co-located at the gas turbine development and manufacturing facility of Mitsubishi Power's Takasago Machinery Works in Japan, and that will be used to validate the full value chain of hydrogen-related technologies - from hydrogen production to power generation. We have designed and constructed a hydrogen production system in Norway, to be implemented in our large-scale hydrogen production plants, that is currently being commissioned for validation of the technology. We are in the process of executing the world's largest energy storage project located in Delta, UT known as ACES (Advanced Clean Energy Storage). This project will initially store up to 1,000 MW / 150,000 MWh of renewable hydrogen energy to be utilized in our state-of-the-art hydrogen gas turbines that will be installed at the Intermountain Power Plant.SUMMARYWe are seeking a manager to lead an inter-disciplinary team of engineers involved in the development and system design of hydrogen production facilities, and to support the integration of hydrogen production and gas turbine combined cycle plants. The candidate's responsibilities include the execution of hydrogen production projects with excellence, including on-time delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables for total customer satisfaction, standardization, new product creation, engineering & design related cost-down activities, as well as proposal support. The candidate will interface and have a close relationship with the hydrogen product line management team, the hydrogen proposal manager, and with the hydrogen infrastructure teams. The position is also responsible, in coordination with the Director of Engineering Integration, for enhancement of overall productivity through improvement of processes and digital tools, and for closely monitoring workload and supplying resource planning input to management.Candidates should have a broad, multidisciplinary understanding of the critical components required to produce hydrogen through electrolysis, including, but not limited to, electrolyzer systems, gas separators, hydrogen compressors, as well as dehumidification and purification systems.
