- Developing and managing relationships to provide ongoing support for small credit unions in, the Southeast region as outlined in the small credit union program.
- Working in conjunction with the Vice President of Member Engagement to promote membership growth efforts, including face-to-face meetings with non-affiliates and associate members in assigned area.
- Working with assigned chapters and young professionals' group to implement goals and strategies for professional development and community projects.
- Researching, developing, and refining solutions for credit unions such as trainings, resources, or programs to better serve the membership, working with other LSCU departments, as necessary.
- Maintaining strong knowledge base of credit union issues, credit union financial performance data, and LSCU & Affiliates programs, products, and services.
- Promoting LSCU & Affiliates events, products, and services; generate product leads and provide referrals to appropriate Business Development Consultants.
- Facilitating credit union planning sessions and conducting trainings for credit union board and staff as requested.
- Representing the League at chapter events and credit union events.
- Providing support to Southeastern Credit Union Foundation fundraising projects.
- Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Four years' experience in a communications, marketing, or non-profit association position.
- Financial services experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to build credible and influential relationships.
- Engaging and effective presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure, within timelines and with others to achieve the best results.
- Willingness to embrace change with an open mind.
- Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Knowledge and understanding of history, development, and philosophy of credit union movement.
- Previous credit union experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Airline travel required.
