- Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair:
- Electrical equipment (AC/DC Drives, power controls circuits, starters, MCCs).
- Microprocessor based systems (PLCs, Electronic circuits, controls).
- Industrial voltage distribution systems (single and three phase systems).
- Instrumentation (pneumatic controls, PID, transducers, analog/digital signals).
- power distribution and generation (transformers, switchgears, breakers).
- Scales calibrations, Metal detector calibrations, printers.
- Conduct Planned Preventive and Predictive Maintenance and keep maintenance records.
- Recommend and implement corrective action and required repairs.
- Assist in planning, and organization of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation).
- SAP Knowledge will be an asset.
- Red Seal Electrical Certificate (309A).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical, instrumentation, automation, pneumatics experience.
- 3 Phase and single-phase voltage, Weigh Scales, Vision Systems, HMI, Schneider Electric Modicon, Allen Bradley PLC, VFD, Servomotors, Ethernet Network Communications experience essential.
- A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in the Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
- Red Seal Instrument Technician.
- Strong decision making, problem solving troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a multifunctional team with minimum supervision.
- Will be required to work indoors and outdoors.
