Head of Parts Inventory and Logistics Department

- Keep the strategy of the Inventory& Logistic department in line with the company strategy;
- Maximizing revenues and profit level by controlling spare parts operations in Europe including developing regional warehouses;
- Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency and make management reports on a regular basis;
- Optimize the flow of goods and stock management, perform accurate forecasts to ensure maximum availability of inventory;
- Manage, coach, and connect team leaders of the Inventory& Logistic;
- Optimize sourcing strategy, Liaise, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers to obtain the best prices and conditions;
- Control the costs: Inventory finance costs, Operational costs, Logistic costs;
- Implement the daily work in the European SAP system and Logistics system, Control the inventory in accordance with the SAP system;
- Secures timely invoicing of all outbound shipments;
- Shows initiative to improve the processes and systems, Initiate, monitor and improve processes and procedures;
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements;
- In charge of CDC job duties:
- Responsible for the overall planning and comprehensive management of CDC warehousing;
- Decompose and issue assignments of CDC to ensure the achievement of various KPI;
- Responsible for the daily work allocation and personnel arrangement of the warehouse;
- Responsible for stock inventorying per the requirement of Finance team and auditors;
- In charge of on-site monitoring and management;
- Receive and transmit abnormal feedback, follow up solution and promote the improvement;
- Implement the training of personnel safety and business;
- Responsible for warehouse safety and 5S management in the field;
- Take charge of warehouse and equipment maintenance application;
- Responsible for logistics vehicle scheduling and arrangement;
- Complete goods delivery for each line within the required time.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a manager in a B2B Spare parts environment, preferably within the Automotive industry;
- Affinity with electric mobility;
- Experience with leading a multicultural team;
- Experience in setting up a spare parts centre abroad will be a strong advantage;
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills;
- Excellent English and Chinese language skills. Other European languages will be considered an advantage;
- Very good PowerPoint & Excel user skills, have user knowledge of SAP and/ or other stock control program;
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving;
- Willing to travel on a frequent basis within Europe and abroad, including potential trips to China.
