- Owner of data center and critical server & storage infrastructure strategy and execution.
- Manage both the team, and portfolio of work for infrastructure projects, including hands on project management.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of Corporate and plant data centers.
- Lead in the design and development of data center architecture to support current and future business needs.
- Manage internal and external mobile providers, and associated hardware.
- Lead business continuity and disaster planning for business critical systems, including working with other IT and business teams to produce and sustain practical solutions.
- Manage and support infrastructure software solutions for all systems, working with DBAs and applications specialists as needed.
- Manage and support building access and camera security systems across the enterprise.
- Manage data backup and recovery procedures for all systems.
- Design and implement solutions using infrastructure technologies to meet corporate goals.
- Work with other departments both within and outside of IT and project teams to provide world class solutions to support the business.
- Project management of all infrastructure projects.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize quality and service availability.
- Hire, manage, mentor, and develop highly functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage budget within scope of the team related to hardware, software, staff and other areas as required.

- Ability to respond to critical issues or infrastructure support needs during off-hours and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant related field.
- 10 years of IT industry experience in a technical leadership role focused infrastructure planning, development and implementation or more.
- Strong technical skills and experience in multiple of the following areas:
- Storage systems (Pure FlashArray X, etc.) including active/active HA architectures
- Cisco networking technologies (LAN / WAN / WLAN / VLAN)
- Intel server hardware (such as Lenovo, Dell, HP, Cisco, etc.)
- VXLAN design, implementation, and support
- VMWare solutions
- Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Windows OS, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, etc.); Linux/ RedHat; MS-SQL.
- Network storage technologies and file system management
- Kronos time keeping systems and hardware.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design, planning, testing, and execution.
- Outstanding communication skills from low level technical detail through to business functions and leadership, including judgement on when and at what level to proactively communicate pertinent information
- Understanding of the implications of changes and events within your domain upon applications, and the business as a whole.
- Skilled and experienced with systems change control.
- Skilled at documentation from the detailed technical level up, including the ability to present complicated topics in layman's terms
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously and with consistent format and delivering promised results
- Strong teamwork approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
- Highly skilled at identifying and permanently solving issues to root cause
- Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
- Ability to understand, evaluate, justify, and as applicable implement new technologies to maximize business value to GLC.
- Intuition and a rapid ability to interpret and understand the environment and events occurring within it, and take action as necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 10% within the United States.
- Master's degree in Business or a relevant technical discipline
- Relevant certifications; Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, etc.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Converged Plant wide Ethernet (CPwE) design or implementation.
- Cisco & Arista technologies
- Project Management Certification (PMI)
- SAP technical domain expertise
- Manufacturing industry expertise (ideally food)
- Experience networking and troubleshooting networked shop floor controls (Rockwell/AB PLCs)
- Work is performed in an office setting.
- Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
