Job Title: Professional for Supplier AssuranceLocation: WartonWe offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements . Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this roleSalary: £47,683 + depending on experienceWhat you’ll be doing:
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to assess risk, ensure compliance and verify supplier security standards
  • Produce, update and manage Security Aspect Letters and OFFICIAL/MODII Letters, agreeing CIPs and ensure timely review and record keeping
  • Assess supplier risk, prioritize visits, conduct assurance activities and follow up on mandatory actions promptly
  • Deputise for the SSA Lead in updating templates and documents, reviewing and understanding applicable contractual documents and customer/legal requirements, submitting MoD request forms, leading stakeholder engagement sessions, supporting SSA practitioners with queries and reviewing SALs/reports produced
  • Assume the role of team leader to guide and support more junior members of the team
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
  • IT or Cyber security experience and a strong understanding of information and cyber security principles
  • Experience in data gathering
  • Previous engagement in auditing and assessments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience of working with commercial or legal documents
Desirable:
  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor qualifications
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Ability to produce reports and formal documents
