Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.We are seeking an experienced Operational Procurement Specialist for our Amersfoort office to ensure that all operational issues are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner, either by yourself or by delegating to other parts of the organization or external partners. As the Operational Procurement Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for supporting the Category Team for Feed Additives & Animal Health Products and Nutreco Procurement department in all kinds of operational matters. You'll act as the liaison between the global organization and local organizations, executing operational processes, and supporting the Category Manager Feed Additives & Animal Health Products and Global Lead buyers. You'll communicate daily with procurement, formulation, and production team managers at the local facilities and help the customer service team with orders, invoicing, and admin functions. Your financial acumen will come in handy as you'll have a special focus on rebates and their financial handling for all categories.About The Role:Responsibilities:Finding solutions for “problems of all kind” in the area of forecasting, contract issues, quality issues, supplier and supply related issues and more.Support the global category manager and lead buyers by collecting and analyzing data, translating it into sourcing plans, and preparing presentations on category performance.Active participation in OpCo S&OP process specifically for the Feed Additive supply point Selko NL and Selko USA.Monitoring, verifying and collecting the data on the rebates agreed with suppliers for all categoriesSkills and ExpertiseQualifications:A HBO or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, finance or a similar field.3+ years of related professional working experience in an international environment.Proven experience with Power BI and Microsoft Excel.You have a good command of the English language, are communicative, accurate and a true team player.Flexible working attitude and able to work with multiple disciplines and stressful conditions.Expectation from Role:You enjoy finding solutions to a variety of problems from the Global Procurement and local organizations and suppliers, and are comfortable with an operational role, have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailYou are proactive, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholdersYou are adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.Why You Will Love Working with Us:Global Benefits:A full-time (at least 36 hours) position in an international, dynamic environment.Competitive remuneration package, good pension scheme, and 30 vacation days with flexibility.Opportunities for professional growth within Nutreco and the broader SHV group.A flexible work environment with the option to work from home for max 2 days a week when working fulltime.Local Benefits:This is a position where you will be working at an international level, which means you will be in frequent contact with other countries and other cultures.You are given the space to come up with your own ideas that lead to an improvement of the process.Next Steps:We value a seamless candidate experience and would like to respond within five (5)business days.
